How to work out "% off"
Sale price = Price × (1 − % off ÷ 100)
40% off ₹3,000 = 3,000 × 0.60 = ₹1,800. With 12% GST on the sale price: 1,800 × 1.12 = ₹2,016.

How do I calculate 30% off quickly?
