What is lorem ipsum?
Lorem ipsum is scrambled Latin used as placeholder text since the 1500s. It comes from Cicero's De finibus bonorum et malorum (45 BC). Designers use it because it looks like normal text without distracting readers with meaning, so people focus on the layout.
