Fair randomness

Numbers come from crypto.getRandomValues, the same secure random number generator browsers use for encryption, with rejection sampling so every number in the range is exactly equally likely. Ordinary Math.random() is fine for games, but it is predictable and slightly biased over large ranges.

  • Unique numbers: no repeats, which is ideal for lucky draws, roll-number picks and lottery-style selections.
  • Dice: any number of dice with 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 or 20 sides, with the total shown.
  • Coin toss: toss up to 1,000 coins and see the heads and tails count.
